Am Donnerstag, 29. September 2011 startet Rap History Basel in seine dritte Runde. Um die neue Saison gebührend zu eröffnen, wird der legendäre Hip Hop-Produzent, MC, DJ und D.I.T.C.-Mitbegründer Diamond D mit einem „all 45s DJ-Set“ die Bühne der Kaserne Basel rocken.
Diamond D als ehemaliges Mitglied der Oldschool Crew Ultimate Force, gründete 1990 zusammen mit Lord Finesse, O.C., Big L, Showbiz & A.G., Fat Joe und Buckwild die Crew Diggin‘ In The Crates (D.I.T.C.). Als Produzent zeichnet er sich für etliche Rap Classics wie zum Beispiel Lord Finesses „Isn’t He Something“ oder Showbiz & A.G.s „Soul Clap“ verantwortlich. Diamond D’s Produzenten-Credits sollten dich endgültig überzeugen, am 29.09.2011 in die Kaserne zu pilgern. Abgerundet wird der Abend von DJ Dimes (BS) und Johny Holiday (BS).
